Tuesday, October 7th @ 9pm - PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE, ROUND 2
Octane continues screening the 2008 Debates with Round Two of the Presidential between John McCain and Barak Obama. We’ll have 4$ Victory Storm King drafts, and a selection of tasty desserts. The broadcast begins at 9pm EST. Come early and pre-game with your fellow political junkies.
Thursday, October 9th @ 9pm - THURSDAY NIGHT THROWDOWN
Octane presents the October edition of TNT, our monthly latte art competition. As always, it’s just $5 to enter the competition. Each participating barista will get one chance to pour their best latte art, which will be judged by members of Atlanta’s coffee community. Winner takes the pot! In addition, second and third place will receive gift certificates from local sponsors. We’ll have $4 Dogfish Head drafts for all, and $3 Jameson Shots for baristas (our shaky hand special). Sign up for competitors will be at 8pm. Pouring begins at 9pm. Come on out and cheer for your favorite barista!

Friday, October 10th @ 8pm - THE ZOMBIE ART SHOW

Saturday, October 11th @ 10pm - SURE SHOT!
Saturday night, Octane presents the ATL’s premier rhythm and soul review, Sure Shot! DJs T1 & Agent 45 will spin the best funk, soul, and classic R&B. We’ll slide the tables to the side, so you can shake your behind. Parlay to the dance floor, and bring your boogie shoes!
Thursday, October 15th @ 9pm - PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE, ROUND 3
The third and final round between Barak Obama and John McCain will be screened at Octane. Once again, we’ll have 4$ Victory Storm King drafts! The broadcast begins at 9pm EST.
Sunday, October 19th @ 7pm - PECHA KUCHA
Atlanta Pecha Kucha is an informal forum for creative work encompassing a range of disciplines: advertising, architecture, art, fashion, food, graphics, media (digital, moving, mixed), products, etc. The key to Pecha Kucha is the simple formula: 20 slides for 20 seconds each. Each invited speaker has the spotlight for 6 minutes 40 seconds to share and show off their work before the program moves on to the next presentation. The unfolding mix of stuff on show keeps everyone engaged and talking. The bar eases the conversation. During the event, Octane will serve beer, wine, light snacks, and tasty desserts.
